On the Labor Day weekend, my partner and I visited Brisbane to claim my prize from the Heritage Bank Photo Competition. A night's accommodation at Mantra on Queen, and dinner & a show at QPAC. We saw Aladdin (I've still got all the some of the songs stuck in my head!!) and had a great dinner at The Lyrebird. While we were in the city I kept my eye out for some great spots for a bit of infra-red photography. There are some great spots in the city, with old stone buildings nestled in between towering concrete and glass office towers. Best of all are the tropical palm trees and luxurious grass to create awesome infra-red contrasts!
