I have been training Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Art) for around 15 years, and every Saturday you can find me at the Space in Prahran, Melbourne at class sweating it out. This week inspiration hit me as we were warming up, and I could see the perfect light spilling through the frosted glass windows in the training studio. Asking some of the guys to try some moves under the light worked really well and lit up the lines of their bodies.
I then asked everyone to think of a move, and took a series of shots with each person 1 by 1. I positioned each of them roughly under one of the windows and took a burst of shots as they threw their bodies into acrobatic capoeira sequences.
Later that day I stitched the four shots together, first editing in Lightroom for colour, contrast and then into Photoshop in layers to merge them together into one shot.
I think it came out pretty well, can't wait to try again!!
