On Saturday October 31st I had the absolute please of capturing David propose to Sarah at Albert Park Lake.

One of my images at Albert Park Lake on instagram caught David's eye, and we discussed the proposal plan over a month or so as we waited for Melbourne's COVID-19 lockdown to ease. I was to pose as a photographer on the path taking images of the city, as David and Sarah walked along the path he asked me if I minded taking some pictures of them. Once the coast was clear of joggers and walkers, I gave the signal to David who dropped to one knee and proposed to the gorgeous Sarah. It was such a beautiful moment to capture, and I'm so happy for both of them! They were such an open and friendly couple. After the proposal I led them through some posed portraits, before heading back to their apartment to take some more images from the roof overlooking Albert Park Lake. David and Sarah are returning home to Ireland in a few weeks, and I wish them all the best for the future, knowing that they will take home the most wonderful memory of their engagement in Melbourne.
